Injector Question

My car has developed a miss overnight. I have checked all the plugs and they are all burnt the same with a gray ash. I went ahead and replaced them, BTW.

I then checked the signal going into the plugs and they all seem to be the same.

Next, I checked the resistance on the fuel injectors. On cylinder 2 I show an open circuit. On the other 5 I show varying resistances (indicating closed circuits). Based on this information, I assume that the injector is bad. Any thoughts? Does the unit come out merely with the two screws in the assembly? Can I do this myself?

Thanks for any help.

Re: Injector Question

Check the OHM on the injectors... Should be 12-14. If this is off, then the cylinders will not be firing properly. This MAY cause the spark plugs to become corroded. It happened to my VG30DE in my ZedX...
