Re: Need info on civic type-r's plz!

On the car or engine?
The engine has 185hp@8200 stock with an 8400 fuel cut, vtec kicks at 6000rpm and they're pretty fun but not really ultrafast. My best time so far is a 14.9@92mph but it's capable of mid/low 14's with some nice tires and upgraded clutch. Not worth the $3800 - $4000+ though. If anything, it's worth the bragging rights...

okay... 185hp@8200rpms, 118@about the same.
For the rest just go to www.google.com and look for yourself. I'm tired of searching there to answer other people's lazy questions.

Power through RPM not torque.

Here's a pretty off the wall analogy.
Say you're a little guy quickly beating away at a punching bag, forcing it to move away obviously. Now picture big Bubba slowly wacking his bag, but he's stronger. You = high revving hp, Bubba = low end torque.
