$150 to spend at Best Buy ... choices choices..

I have a digital coupon for $150 at www.bestbuy.com .
What would you buy if you were me?

I am contemplating getting this for GT4 when it comes out: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....oryId=cat08195

Hmm that steering wheel looks cool, but you got a 350z!!! I got one of those expensive steering wheels and it in no ways compares to driving a real car. With $150 I'd probably get a new digi cam (well I'd add more money to get a better digi cam)

I'd probably do the same. GT4 is gonna kick sooo much ASS!

My advice is not to use up the money buying stuff that costs under 150 bucks, like DVDs and CD's (well maybe a couple)...you can always buy them later and you have 150 bucks on you alot less often then you do 20.

Re: Re: $150 to spend at Best Buy ... choices choices..

Heya Igor, I would wait untill GT4 has actualy been released, just incase the wheel dosnt work as well they claim it will.
There were lots of issues with the first wheel released for GT3, it was relased before GT3 was, and it suffered all sorts of problem, including crashing mid game

I would use it to get a HDD and the Internet connection pack instead, which will most likely be needed for GT4 as well, then you can send them to me and Ill beta test them for you untill GT4 comes out

Re: $150 to spend at Best Buy ... choices choices..

i got a steering wheel with the seperate pedals, seperate shifter, and it even had a litte tach built into the steering wheel column housing. I sucked using that, but kicked some major ass with the analog controller.

me too, I have a steering wheel with seperate pedals and a shifter stick, with a tach also (You have the mad catz MCII racing wheel?) and I suck with it also in Project Gotham Racing 2, but I own with the joystick. Whenever I play on xbox live, everyone uses the M3's for the coupe series, I always use the 350z and manage to beat the M3s usually despite a much slower top-speed, handlin and cornering beats them all out. The Steering wheel can't turn as fast as the joystick, which is why it sucks ass.

I think the $150 digital coupon is some form of a rebate ... can't remember exactly.

Honestly? It would go towards a new refrigerator. Or an oven w/ an actual timer on it.

Ahhh...homeownership.

i'd get it, but i wonder if it's backwards compatible with other Gran Turismo games, or if you can use it with other racing titles
