Question Changing Right Rear Breaklight Bulb.. Help!

I need to replace the right rear break light bulb on my 1999 Cadillac Escalade. The Escalade manual tells me to take it to the dealer. I want to avoid the dealer if at all possible. If anybody can reply with instructions that would be great.

Thanks,

Mike

Re: Changing Right Rear Breaklight Bulb.. Help!

I just changed my light bulbs on my 2002 Escalade. All you have to do is let the back hatch up and look on the side of the rear brake light buld cover there are two screws just remove those two screws and the light bulb cover will snap right out. once out you can replace any buld in the cover that needs to be replaces. Let me know if this helps if not I can assist you further
