I have a slippage problem. There is no play in the clutch pedal.
The clutch wont slip until the car gets warmed up good. then when it slips...If I pull up on the clutch pedal the slipping STOPS! Is there some sort of adjustment that can be made? to allow the clutch to engage all the way? [email protected] |

Re: 944 clutch slips "no play in pedal"
Can you pull out the clutch pedal more than 1/4 inches? If so, then you need to grawl under the steering wheel and follothe pedal arm to a return spring mechanism at the top of the arm. Just replace it. It's a pain to try to rebuild it if broken.
If the pedal is all the way out then crawl under the steering wheel, there's a long threaded shaft w/ jam nuts connecting the clutch pedal arm to the master cylinder. You'll figure out what to do when you get there.
