Screwed up electical system - locks don't work sometimes

I have a 94 dodge spirit, and I just installed component speakers in the front doors. Something funky happened with the elctrical system, and sometimes the auto locks will unlock but not lock. I've found the problem only occurs when the keys are in the ignition and the front door is open and the open door noise occurs.

Anyone with any suggestions or that may know of a specific short or something that may have happend please let me know.
