Y-pipe needed

Ok well... I pulled the car up onto my lift i have at work.. and i fixed my heating problem.. when i went to go back it off.. the exuast caught on the lift and ripped teh y-pipe apart.. i mean..kinked, cracked, and just... twisted.. so.. anyone in CT that has a Y-pipe for a 89 IROC.. or anything that iwll fit... i looked onine.. its a 88-92 single cat 3" out to the cat setup.i have a 86 Berlinetta with a blown motor if anyone wants to trade parts or let me buy a y-pipe from them.. let me know...

Re: Y-pipe needed

Y-pipe is discontinued, best bet would be to find the part off a junkyard heap. cheap and effective.

I backed off a small ledge and my Y pipe w/ dual cats' got all tore to $hit...
I just took it to a competition muffler shop and they bent and welded a new y pipe without the cats.. it costed like $160cdn

Re: Y-pipe needed

dosnt have to be off an IROC, any V8 camaro will do, the exhaust is the same for all of em, unless they have the dual cat option.

actually.. it must be off of a 350 form the years 1988-1991, my friend has a junk 86 camaro with a 305.. but its only 2 1/2 inch into the cat.. its a single cat.. but its to small. My stock is a single cat with a 3 inch into the cat and out.
