Irony

So I was just wondering if any of you experience this. I got a turbo timer (hks, i think) back in july and put it on my car, which already had a python alarm. One nice feature of the python is that it locks your doors automatically if it senses them being closed. Unfortuantly, if your turbotimer is on, it doesn't sense you open, get out, and close the doors. So it just runs, turns off, then remains unlocked. I tried setting the alarm with the remote, but it wont set with the TT working, it thinks the key is still in ignition. To remedy this, I started manually locking the doors when getting out. To my surprise, my alarm actually unlocks the doors as soon as the TT stops. So ironically I can get out of my car, but still can't leave its side until it turns off, the whole point of a TT. Granted it still looks cool to get out and its still running, but then this "coolness" is revoked by looking like an idiot standing 20 ft from your car for 3 mins as it cools down.
I was just wondering if anyone else experiences my irony, or if I'm the only idiot out there that does this.

Re: Irony

I would hate that... But I hate my alarm system anyways. You can get alarm systems with turbo timers can't you? I have a CompuStar one and mine has a turbo timer built in it. Now it would just be nice to have a turbo, but I can wait But yeah, I've had endless alarm/electrical problems with my car. So I just gave up and lock my car manually.
