Re: How much to install bodykit?

DO NOT install ANY body kit without painting it. for the love of god, stop giving imports a bad name man!! might as well key "Ricer" on your existing body and tattoo it on your arm. with that said...i dunno, many shops offer many different prices depending on the difficulty and amount of work required.

why wouldnt u just save yourself the money and put it on yourself, after the paintjob to it. its really not that hard to install, just unscrew and screw bolts and add some glue or somthin.

^^^ That comment wasnt necessary

lol...........I really feel sorry for you. Retards go nowhere in life, I never said I was gonna paint it after installing it, I just said how much would it cost to install it without painting it, just to have an idea how much it would cost for a full bodykit installation.

Hahaha, and I cant believe you use the term "ricer."

Re: How much to install bodykit?

anyways, you can't always just bolt it on yourself. some kits have to be repaired for small cracks, and some don't even come with pre-drilled holes so it fits better later. my advice, have a pro do it.

I agree. If you do not know what you are doing, installing a body kit can be a disaster. Here's my hierarchy:

No bodykit > well fitting bodykit > sloppy fitting bodykit.

Whats wrong with the term Ricer? i use it all the time, besides being "AZN" i think i have the right to. I remember back when it was cool to have your car be called rice anyways i say let a pro do it unless you have body work expierence and may i suggest against the blackwidow kit there are much better ones out there, you should check this site out http://www.importfan.com they got some nice stuff if havent been there already.

to all the ricers out there keep on Ricing,i feel ya

oh yeah and for all of you that didnt know and think JDm is the only way, Ricing your car is big in japan only diff is its called "SpoCom" there.

lol your too funny nevere thought of it that way, Spocom stands for Sport Compact Car, i dont know why they call it that, but Spocom pretty much means Fast & furious iv'e herd to many stories where japanese people Walk up to Cacauasians at the tokyo auto salon or any japanese car show in japan and say "im the real vin disel" (with a japanese accent).

-to all the spocom'ers out there keep on spocoming, i feel ya

If you have the right tools and some common sense you should have no problem putting it on yourself. I custom install for a living and could tell you that its not that hard. It just takes time. Prefit it , drill your holes and make any supports before you spray it. Take your time to make sure it lines up clean before you drill. You might want to have a buddy to help. Remember to take your time

Re: How much to install bodykit?

i just repaired my car from a wreck. i didnt put a kit on it but i did put a brand new bumper and fender on. i can give you a list to install the kit because although im only16 i have put about 5 or 6 body kits on and have painted four tmes that many. i have also mastered the art of body work, welding sanding, and wet sanding. so if you want a list just pm me.

Not to flame but in other words your going to rice it out first... As for quality of the kit, is it fiberglass or urethane?

BTW- i think you need to worry about actually getting the car first
