belt tensioner
I've got a 1991 Taurus Wagon with 156K miles on it. The belt tensioner has never been replaced on it. Does anyone know what the life expectancy might be for it? It's a 3.0 engine.

On my '93 taurus, 3.0 I changed it once at 75K then the idler pulley a short time later. Prior to the Taurus, I had a 87 mustange the idler pulley failed at 60-70k. This appears to be a known defect. My brother had a 93 Sable with 80K and had to change it.
