Me I love 4th generation prelude V-TEC standards, all stock they look better than the stock 5th gen, the 5th gen look more luxury but the 4th look more sporty in my opinion. (again im talkign stock, no body kits)

Plus I love how the Black Widow Body Kits look on the 4th Gen, the ones on the 5th gen arent much appealing in my opinion. But again Its all about preferences

Definitely fourth gen for the reasons Prelewd pointed out. Overall, they are also a bit faster.

Re: 4th or 5th gen Prelude V-TECS?!?

4th gens are lighter and have a better gearing from what I hear. Anyways, stock for stock, the 4th gen VTEC is a bit faster than the 5th gen despite the power increase.

In the end it all boils down to which one you like more, because they are both great cars with the same potential.

5th gen Type SH is the best handler in the group, pulling about .89g on the skidpad as opposed to the 4th Gen VTEC's .86. Otherwise the ATTS isn't all that great, and alot of SH owners wish they had bought base model (with the same hp) because the ATTS does not take to mods very well. It, however, is a good Autocross car for the stock class.
