Interior Comfort Question

I have been in the market for a new car, mainly to use on track or eating up corners, I am not looking for str8 line acceleration at all so the MR-S has been a choice for this hunt. My question mainly is; Im 6'4 and most my heighti s in my legs headroom is no problem but leg room is a concern. Right now I drive a 2000 Eclipse with 42.3 inches of leg room and its semi bad, I can heal and toe but not that efficiantly and I have learned the leg room in the MR-S is 42.2 inches. But My mom has a rav 4 and the seat is set high but it only has like 39 inches of leg room and I fit fine. So I was wondering how all you tall guys do in your cars and if the pedal lay out is sufficient enough for competition use. Thanks for your time.
