Track Impressions

ok well heres the deal, About a Year ago I wrecked my first car and totalled it a 2001 V6 Camaro Automatic(horrible in wet cond.) So after I got out of the hospital I recived a 2000 RS Eclipse 5 speed. Then after a few months my mothers RAv4 Blew its engine and she took the 5 speed, and well my license got suspended for 6 months. So now Im looking for another car for track use, and Auto Crossing. I am in no need for str8 line speed what so ever, so my choices have been interesting, I have thought of The Honda/Acura Combo of course being the Integra and Civic but found myself Dismayed by the understeer and twirkyness of the engine, heh it almost feels like theres a little turbo in there that just desides to work when it hits 6500 rpm, any way this brings me to the older eclipses mainly the GSX, since the car is heavy I was wondering how was the cornering performance and feel? I would be updating the suspension sparsly and not over hauling the whole thing, any impressions or comments will be helpfull, or recomendations of other cars thanks.

There are lots of successful autox'ing DSM's, but there is no way you'll be happy unless you test drive one for yourself. Of course, most of the autox'ers have heavily modified suspensions and power mods, for every car.

Alright thanks Joe; lol and yeah my driving record isnt the best true but mind you it was during that hurricane in VA and NC when I wrecked the camaro I hydroplained and I wasnt able to defend myself in court because I was in the hospital. Any ways yeah Ill test drive it as throughly as possible I just hope it drives nothing like the 2000 Eclipse.
