Re: What wax do you use?

Big fan of Meguiars, but just started using Four Star stuff from premiumautocare.com. Absolutely the finest stuff I've ever used. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Take care,
Jerry

Re: What wax do you use?

I use a pure carnauba wax. It doesn't last much longer that 4 or 5 weeks but it sure gives depth and shine. I like waxing, gives me an excuse for a beer or two when I'm done.

Been using these guys for about 17 years. http://www.beautyshine.com

Not all their products are online as they concentrate in the wholesale market.

Hey...I know that guy. It's great to see familiar folks - that makes four of us SUV Worlders I've seen thus far. Cool!

Re: What wax do you use?

Ditto. I used to use Meguiar's Gold Class. Definitely a good product, but I've fallen in love with Lexol.

Take care,
Jerry

Re: What wax do you use?

I've always used Mothers... Leaves a nice smooth deep shine. Lexol is definetly the way to go on leather.

Re: What wax do you use?

Polish is great - just keep in mind that if you're not waxing or sealing afterward, you're doing absolutely nothing to protect your paint.

The Meguair's three-step (and Mothers equivalent) is a great product for the money. You can get some feedback on more premium brands and experiment to see which you like. I've seen the results of Zaino and Klasse, and have been very, very impressed. For the money, I'm totally sold on Four Star paint care products, but there are many, many great ones out there.

Take care,
Jerry
