I own a 91 classic with a 305, got it from my father. It has Redrum leather interior. I was wondering if there are cars with the LT1 and leather because I need to find one and buy it. My dream car is a white 5.7 with red leather, chrome rims, tints, and a wet kit. I'm graduating in May so I'll finally have time to work on something like this but as of now I'm pretty inexperienced. I figure gettin a beautiful Caprice with low miles and building the engine to take that shot of nitrous is a pretty cost effective way of cruisin in style with warp speed at my finger tips. So.. LT1 with leather? 95' 96' low miles (I'd love to just take my current interior and put it in a 5.7 car, love the red)

Re: 96' LT1 with leather?
I wouldn't wait till u find a civilian caprice with leather get a used cop car (all the heavy duty parts) and get Bonniville seats. I've got a white 94 9c1 LT1, the first thing I did was find a junkyard with a Bonniville. They have nice leather seats. I got mine shipped to Va from FL for $500 for both front and rear. At that point you can take them somewhere and have em dyed Red. Good luck

Re: 96' LT1 with leather?
Thanks for the tips buddy. Do those Bonniville seats bolt in easy? Can you get a bench style front seat from a Bonniville?

yeah they are better then the real Impala seats as far as holding you in. If you don't have your seatbelt on in an impala you slide around nicely.
