Add an Amp to 2002 X? Can I? Don't want to get taken!
I have read that the way to better a system if you don't want to remove the stock head unit is to add an amp... I have an Xterra and I want to keep the 6disc HU but I want to add new speakers and the amp to make the system better.
How do I do this? When I go to the stereo installers here in town, I don't want to be taken for extra stuff that I don't need Thanks a lot! |

you will need a line level converter, aka 'line out converter' aka LOC. This will take the speaker level out from the head unit and make it a line out. depending on which one you get, it could output directly to RCAs.
