3800 ignition troubles

I have a 1989 Trofeo and love it. I changed plugs and wires. I went with platinum plugs. After installation it ran real rough, like it was only hitting on 4 cylinders. I checked all wire connections and they were good. As it turns out two of the leads on my coil have zero spark. I have changed the module and coil to no avail. I have checked the diagnostics code and everything checks out ok. Has anyone had a similar problem or offer any ideas. I would greatly appreciate it!
