Turbo coolant help

I talked to some guys who are saying that I shouldn't have to run coolant to the trubo I got. Its off of a mazda and its pretty small. I am running oil but they said it shouldn't be a problem to run it without coolant. Anyone got any responses to that?

Everyone who I've talked to has always said that if you can hook up a coolant line, you should. It keeps the turbo cooler and helps it last longer, it doesnt cost much to buy a few feet of hose and hook it up. Just fuel line or something will work. But people do block the water coolant connections on their turbos, so it has and can be done.
