Anyone know anything about this muffler?
I'm searching for my rice muffler replacement. I'm really tired of that noise. Every time I get above 2000 rpm it sounds like I'm driving a lawn mower. I want something as quiet as stock. I have a 95 DX Coupe. I was just searching for a 95 one and I came along this one.
On the website it says 92-94 even though I picked year 95. Does anyone know if it will fit a 95 too? It's called DYNOMAX (D22) Part # 17686 I would really like to know the sound level. This guy said he could put a stock one back on for $125, but since the owner before me cut a piece out of the rear bumper, having that 1' diameter stock one with this round cut hole would really look dumb. I don't really know anything about mufflers, so, all the muffler shop has to do is cut the OBX one off and weld this one on, corect? I just want something quiet so that I can enjoy a ride once in a while. Thanx Damir OH and if someone is looking for a REALLY LOUD one, I'll sell the OBX one for 15 bucks plus shipping (OBX Type R Racing) |

Alright, I guess I should have used the search button before posting. Seems to have gotten pretty good reviews, so I went ahead and bought it. $63 plus free shipping. So if anyone wants the other one, let me know. $15 or best offer plus shipping.

Re: Anyone know anything about this muffler?
to put in a new mufler u need to weld teh muffler hanger( or how ever u spell that) on the new mufler. the muffler in that picture looks like a muffler for a car that has v-8 or soemthign like something u bolt under the car not in the back idk ul have to see. if the muffler was made for a honda civic 92-94. then it should fit ur 95 since the models were the same i think

This is the same muffler only for a different car, plus I won't have the exhaust tip on it so it'll look almost stock.
That guy has an audio file of what it sounds like, but it's not a civic. http://www.geocities.com/ake2ly/N240/exhaust.html |
