parts questions

hey guys. im thinkin about purchasing a 96-00 civic (any make). i was looking at engine parts, and i have a couple of questions.

1.) i want to build a custom engine with an integra type R head, wwith a JDM b18c bottom end. anyone know where i can find engine parts for sale to make this happen?

2.) i was looking at engines for sale off an auction site, and i saw a DOHC vtec out of a 2001 si. will it fit in a 96-00 non si civic? and if so, will all my parts need to fit the 2001 vtec?

only reason im gettin the civic is i need a daily driver aside from my now-show car.
