Switch plate
I'm trying to construct a switch plate to house two switches for accessory items in my car. Is there any way to purchase plastic (or something else) that I could use for it? If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. thanx

Re: Switch plate
go to any local hobby shop, they sell sheets of styrene card, for like $3 you can get a couple thick sheets...Or you might try the craft section at your local wal-mart...

Re: Switch plate
Why construct a switch plate? there are lots of empty spots on the dashes of the cavs for switch location. You can also by the prefab double switch plates at the autoparts section of most chains, or the autoparts store....

Re: Switch plate
maybe he wants to fill a gap where the old head unit was or something. I'd go with metal, but if you dont have the tools, plastic would work....

Re: Switch plate
Ive got all of my switches in the center console under the HVAC controls. The premade switch plate is a good idea. I think it might look better
