I made this drawing with Crayola ink and black/white chalk
What do you think?

This one was made with black chalk. First, I draw the car with a normal pencil.Then, I put black with the chalk in all the places were there is shade. After, I take toilet paper and I pass it on all the car to make shade everywere(the black is still there, but there is grey every were around). Finally, I take an eraser and erase the parts were there is lights. All this gives great contrasts and natural effects.

I really like the painterly effect your method achieves.

Since your going the chalk route in most instances I'm curious to know if you have experimented with frisket at any point.

It's my understanding that the frisket will allow you to mask off areas in your tires and stuff like that and allow you to get great detail and still maintain the flow that you get from your medium.

Also do you use any ellipse sets on your wheels? Even in the pencil base stage.

I have also seen similar work and the artist used prisma sticks or something like that sharpened to a point.

It might serve many of us very well if you were to scan one of your drawings in stages, and spoon feed us so to speak.
