New or NOS rubber trim?

Does any one know where I can find new or NOS window seals, door seals and other miscellaneous rubber parts for my '86 CRX SI? My exterior window seals and some other rubber parts are lookin' pretty gross and everything that I find at the junkyards seem to be in the same or worse condition. I've been looking on the internet but have had no success in finding these parts. Occasionally I see these parts on EBAY but I always seem to be outbid at the last second (literally). I've thought about using a vinyl dye on my exterior window seals, just to refurbish them but they will still be dry and cracked underneath.

These cars are about 20 years old now, so it seems that someone should be reproducing these parts (?).

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I had to go to the dealer for the metal things that go on the windows at the door. For the other seals, since I had it new, I always had armorall on them and all mine are still intact. I suspect you will end up at the dealer

Dude thats funny, when i was getting the parts for the brake swap i was also looking for new seals.....mine are in the same kinda shape as yours, all dried and cracked. the window ones are so bad that it rattles back and forth when i drive because they are so dried out. sounds like going to the dealer is about the only option. but man they want a arm and a leg for anything.

Re: New or NOS rubber trim?

I know <frown>. I paid like $160 for those metal window seals. I could not find any anywhere that were even good enough to 'work with'. I've been lucky, I think I've only had to get about $500 of stuff from the dealer in 17 years. But it gets harder each year. Henry Ford once said
"I would give cars away if I could be guarenteed the replacement part market"
It's so true.

i have these parts in good condition. no rust on the metal pieces, and good shape rubber. i was recently cleaning out the stuff i didnt want anymore, so i'll have to double check what i have left, but i think i still have all the parts. next time i go to where my parts are stored i can take pics too. email me with offers (plus shipping). i'm located in ontario, canada.

Re: New or NOS rubber trim?

Found these parts right here under my nose at the AF website! One of the AF sponsors is Auto Part Select. I found everything I need on their website!
