I THINK I HAVE A LEMON, Please Help

Someone please help me I bought my car BRAND NEW it left the lot with 24 miles on it.. Now at 19,000 miles I've had 2 sets of brakes 3 new front rotors, both inside door panels replaced, it's been at the dealership 3 times for the leaking t-tops. I've taken it to two dealerships just to find out that no one is really helpful. I had to pay 100.00 dollars for new brakes that i feel isn't my fault at all that there bad, I've never had my car over 80 mph. But that's not the worse part this weekend was washing my car noticed my back rim was CRACKED, it's webbed out BECAUSE OF A PONTIAC MECHANIC PLACING MY LUG NUTS TO TIGHT ON MY CAR WILL PONTIAC PAY FOR A NEW ONE NO. I love my car she's my baby but I am so tired of the bull crap that comes along with owning her, Does anyone know of anything else I can do!!! HELP PLEASE

Hey There! I think if she's causing you so many problems, you should just get rid of her. Are you talking about a Trans Am here? Because they stopped making them in 2002. So obviously if the car only had 24kms on it, then it's been sitting there for 2 years, or, its had so many problems people kept bringing back and the mechanics just reset the KMs on it, like they do all the time to make a car appear "brand new"

Anyway, it sounds like you got yourself into some deep doo-doo here. I suggest you sell it before it costs you any more money.

(Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear!)

Ohh, okay, to me, the way you worded it sounded like you just bought her. Okay. It's hard to tell why your car would be having so many problems. And because they stopped producing them, it's harder to fix and you can't trade it in for a new one or anything like that. Most new cars have a warranty on them, so if you want to keep having it fixed, then you can do so, but I still suggest you sell her if she's causing you that much trouble.

I havent had nearly as bad as many problems as you have had but I have an 02 ws6 with 27000 miles and Its had its fair share of trips to the dealership. First It was the Brakes, I have turned the rotors three times and replaced the the pads. Then The left signal light kept going out so after they replaced it and it still kept going out. Found out it was wiring. They fixed the seals and had to reset the door or something. With a few other little problems. Had to realign the front end and replace 2 tires (at 20000 miles), which was ridiculous and need 2 more now. F1 Eagles are expensive as hell, the best price Ive found for them is 280 a piece. Ive had a little body damage as well. Hit a raccoon which did a bad number on left side of front end. A tahoe backed it to it; new tail light and scruff mark. And a small tree limb fell across it (Hurricane, I live in NC) and scratched t-tops and a little paint. With a few other things. Thought about trade in for gto but I couldnt let my red beauty go, the gto isnt as pretty or muscular looking and only has 25 more hp, and I think a WS6 T/A has a bigger impact when you look at it. But iam rambling, I would keep it but I know how frustrating it is to keep running into problems.

Sounds like you need to find a better dealership, that actually honors their warranties...
