Clean Engine
Im thinking about cleaning my engine from the oustide in the next few days.I was wondering,if theres any chemical or wash that wont fade out the black rubber and plastic.Ive done it before at the car-wash place,or with an engine cleaner with other cars and they fade out the shine of the engine.Anybody have any suggestions?
To avoid another post,is there anything that I should cover or not wet while im rinsing the engine? Like cables or something like that. |

Re: Clean Engine
Use any engine degreaser. Greased Lightning works pretty good. If you are worried about your plastic, don't spray it with degreaser or when everything is dry shoot some armorall on it. I have never had a problem spraying out my whole engine compartment. But keep in mind you don't want to use the high pressure directly on any wires.
