up country suspention
I have a 99 2dr that I belive has the up country suspention. I have seen several post regarding tire size but none state anything regarding this option. With the up country suspention the cherekee was rased I belive from 1" to 1.5" from the standard suspention. It still has 225/75/15 tires but my question is will 30x9.5x15's fit with the up country option without rub. I have seen some post that say they will fit and some say they rub.
What is the largest tire that will fit with the stock up country suspention. Has anyone ran 30x9.5x15 on a up country equiped jeep cherokee. Any information will be appriciated. |

Re: up country suspention
I ran 30x9.5x15's on a stock 90 Cherokee and they would not rub, and I tried real hard to make 'em rub! With the lift kit, you'll have no problem! The problem I had was I couldn't get the 30x9.5's to fit in the spare tire location in the back, on the driver's side. You want the spare to be the same size as the other tires, especially on a 4x4, so a smaller spare isn't a good idea.
