JDM Conversion of RSX to ITR

I've been dwelling on this for awhile.
I am in the military and I have a few questions to ask.

-If I get a JDM conversion will I be able to find a 2003 ITR engine?
-Would the RSX turn out to be the same as the new Honda ITR specifications and performance?
-I am going to be stationed in Japan, if I purchase an ITR, will i be able to transfer to the U.S. with it?
-If I can't, then will I be able to fit everything from a Type R into the Type S?

Please write back, I have much to ask.

Re: JDM Conversion of RSX to ITR

1) You'll be able to find the engine (K20A) just not sure where.

2) If you get the engine, tranny, tires, brembo's and others then it'll be like the Japanese spec. A problem is the octane, I believe it needs like 96 octane or something.

3) I believe the Military allows you to transfer cars - ask someone in the military....

4) Most things from the Type R will go into the Type S.

List of the differences between the Type S and Type R:

K20A engine in the ITR
Different Gears
LSD
Different Octane
Recaro's
Brembos
17 inch rims
Bridgestone Potenza's
Carpet, interior, trim, red/blue interior pieces, pedals, shift boot and knob, and other stuff
Type R steering wheel
RHD conversion
Type R body kit and spoiler
JDM headlights
suede rear seats (I think)

and some others. That's if you are doing a full JDM conversion.

Keep in mind, this is going be be VERY vostly, but if it is done......

Thanx for the info .
But I still have a few questions

-Will I be able to find the DC5 motor?
-Is there a place where they'll let me import it directly from Japan without having too many emission problems?

Well, hope someone knows about this, thanx for reading all. holla.

You'll be able to get the DC5 motor, a bunch of people have it. As to the last question, sorry, I don't know.

Thx

Thx crazy canuck. haha, Im jus playin. Thx for the info u've given me. Hopefully I will be able to do one or the other without too much problem. Now all i need to do is decide on whether I'll risk the chance of getting the ITR from japan and xfering with it to the states. I heard it was real expensive when installing the emissions' qualified parts 'n other non-sense. I mean, I'm going to probably get rid of them anyways. All righty then, thx for the support yo, peace.

-Yes if you are in Japan you will be able to find an 03 engine.
-depends on how good of a job is done with the conversion.
-Sell your car and get the ITR in Japan. POVs can be shipped back to the states.
-Buy the ITR

-Yes, I know that I can ship the car with my transfer into the U.S., but am I going to have tons of emissions 'n stuff? Because I'd hate to end up buying one and later on can't afford to pay for the emission parts and other crap that is needed.

Not to mention that it'll be in KM/H and RHD.
