New Paint Job For My Spyder

I don't know if you all remember, but I had posted a thread about changing the color of my car. I decided to keep it a similar color....we removed the white from the formula (to darken the color) and added a coarse metallic flake (for a little more sparkle ). I stopped by the paint shop last week to check on the progress.....I almost had a heart attack I have posted some pics below so you could see what she looked like. They said that she should be painted and back in my hands in the next couple of day. They have to put her back together, then wetsand and buff. I will post some pics when I get her back. Thanks to everyone for their input on the paint color.

Oh...by the way...they gave me a bright purple PT cruiser as a rental

Re: New Paint Job For My Spyder

The paint was damaged by an acid mist at my work, so the paint shop determined that they had to strip most of the car to the bare metal. That's why the hood and the trunk are primer. I guess those were the first 2 pieces to be done. The "devilship" refers to the color as metallic cayenne red (actually there is no metallic in the factory formula).
