How good is a IHI turbo?
This is the deal my friends dad is selling away his sons Subaru STI. So we are going to take out the audio system. And the turbo. It has an IHI turbo thats all i know i herd it is a really good turbo. He is gunna sell me the turbo for a cople hundered bucks. How good is that turbo>?

How is your friend's dad going to sell an STi without the turbo in it? He might as well strip the whole damn car... nobody would buy a broken/slow STi.
Regardless of whether the turbo is good, it's not just going to bolt up like another Mitsu turbo would. (almost) For the info on the turbo, try wrxtuners.com
