sunroof removal
motor works but sunroof won't move ,any sug's?

I have the same problem with mine.. I took apart the whole assembly and found the small weak plastic clips on either side had broken.. They are defenatly the weak spot in the whole assembly.

I have replaced many sunroofs like yours. The plastic linkage is definately weak. If the sunroof is open when a collision occurs then they are probably going to break also. Pull out the headliner, remove 6 bolts unplug the wiring and swap it out. I pay $100. for them at the junk yard.

i have a 92 saturn SL2- and the sunroof isnt working....where is the sunroof motor located? Does anyone know?

Crack it open and take a look, Its easy to take apart. Its probably in the same spot the second gen moter is located, to the left of the over head lights in the roof.
