Re: Better Booster = H22A Vtec ..or.. H23 Non-Vtec???
BTW- I'm planning on swapping one of the above engines into my 94 Accord EX 2dr, also boosting it. Let me know what's my best choice and why?
Thanks! |

The h23a has more displacement for torque lovers. But on the same turbo setup, the h22a is faster.

Thanks, do you know the specs (ex: HP, Torques, Ratio??) for both engines?? Possibly for the OBD1 type on both the H22a and H23a preferrable.

Re: Better Booster = H22A Vtec ..or.. H23 Non-Vtec???
h22a 190hp@6800 158ft-lbs@5500 10.0:1
h23a 160hp@5800 156ft-lbs@4500 9.8:1 If you're swapping, the JDM h22a has 200hp@6800. I don't know about the f22a, but the rest of the 92-96 Preludes are OBD1.
