heads up! 04 gtp owners

If you own an 04 gtp with the 6 disc in dash monsoon stereo and think that its awesome, it is, however is it as awesome as it could be? Apparently crack is easy to come by in oshawa canada as some of the 3rd shift workers in the grand prix plant found out. because they were all high when they wired up these stereos. So says my local pontiac dealership. This week i was nosing around my local dealership and the salesman said "hey check out this stereo" it was a monsoon and sounded awesome like more awesome than mine, What the fudge i was thinking so i claimed my case to the service department and they called the engineering department which told them the problem and they fixed it.(time consuming job, about 3 hrs they had my car for)Apparently they sodered the joints sloppy which created sharp ends(teardrop affect) and cut wires and made them touch especially where the wires run through the rubber boot in your door jamb. JUst a heads up.
