about additives

do engine additives like that stp stuff that you put in your gas tank help a lot with cleaning the fuel injectors and stuff in rx7s? also, do products like slick 50, prolong, and duralube do the miraculous things they say they do. If they do i will definitely invest in some, but if they don't do that much i don't wanna waste my money. Thanks

Re: about additives

i don't add stuff to my tank very often, but every once in a while I'll add a injector cleaner. The best I've used so far has been BG products. If you take your car into some shops BG has a pressurized treatment for your injection system and I've heard good things about that treatment too.

Re: about additives

slick 50 and all that shit is just snake oil, dont waste your money. The best kind of fuel injection cleaning system is the kind that you tie directly into your fuel line, so that it's pretty much pure cleaner (which they use kerosine i believe) going thorugh te injectors. But if you really want them clean, ya gotta pop them out and have them cleaned.
