amplifier problem help PLZ

Hi i recently purchased the lanzar HTG224 600 watt 2 ch amp. After installing it the green power light came on and evertything appears hooked up fine but there is no improvement in sound. To check if the amp was adding any power i removed the fuse from the amp, and there was no difference. It is very weak sounding almost no bass, and when i adjust gain and bass on the amp it makes no difference in sound. Im looking for any advice you might have, did i get a bad amp or do you have ideas on what could be wrong?

Re: amplifier problem help PLZ

how did you hook it up?
is this powering speakers, subs, what?

It sounds like you just hooked the amp up to power and left your speakers hooked up to the headunit...

Re: amplifier problem help PLZ

yeah, I was just making sure it was wired up right

When everything is playing are the subs moving at all? Did you make sure to turn the sub output on the headunit on (if your headunit has that feature)?

I think hes saying it would be an option in the menu of the HU. Like, maybe an option to turn the sub output ON or OFF. I doubt there would actually be a specific button for it on the HU, you would probaly have to navigate thru the menu a little. Check the HU manual i suppose
