Passet Transmission swap

Just about to get a passat 2003 1.8T from a friend for a steal, only downslide is its an automatic with the tiptronic transmission function. Anyone know what the peculiarities of swapping a 5 speed from a 1.8T engine into the beasty. Specifically, can it be done, is there anyone who has done it, are there any shops that can and have done it in the past, which transmissions will work for the swap etc. I'm assuming that the parts required would basically boil down to new transmission including flexplate/clutch assembly. halfshafts, shifter, pedals and all associated hydraulic parts ie clutch master and slave cylinders plus new interior trim. Would I need to swap out the automatic radiator for the manual one, are the turbo manifolds different on manual and auto cars etc. Thanks for any information.
