Re: '94 1500 Lift prob.
instead of suspension lift install body lift then install lift blocks in rear and crank up torsion bars in front

Re: '94 1500 Lift prob.
Buy a lift. If you crank torsion bars and all that other crap you will pay twice as much as you would by fixing problems like replacing ball joints, cv joints, ect. I highly recommend you invest in a lift that keeps the same geometry your truck has now. A body lift is the most inexpensive way to go.

I installed blocks in the rear of my '92. That was $30 for the blocks and something like $20 for the new U-bolts. Then I cranked up the torsion bars. You would probably have to torch off the bump stops to keep them from hitting the shocks. It has 190,000 miles on it now and about 70,000 of those were when it was lifted. It was my daily driver for 6 years and I raced in mud drags for 4 years and the only real problem I've had with lifting it is that it does like to eat U-joints. When I was driving it regularly, I was putting in a set every 6 months.

And I did have to replace all 4 ball joints but the truck had 175,000 miles on it and they were original, so that could have been the lift, or the miles.
