How much can you get?

Hello All,

I am selling my GS-T this week. I will not have a eclipse for a few months. But I am going to get a 97-99 GS-X this summer that I plan on making into a street drivable monster. I will be putting in a race transmission all the goodies. I am starting to plan out how I want the power. The route I would like to take is make it motor all the way to about 3500rpm that's when my killer turbo would kick in. I am kinda hoping to sqeeze about 275hp on motor then have the turbo kick in to hopefully top out around 400-550 hp. Reason I want motor is I would like to have a seamless power band and not have to wait on the turbo to spool. Is 275 easy to get on the 4g63 without the turbo? I know this is going to require a new heads, pistons, rods, a custom ground cam and the block will be a buschar stage 3 block. Am I nuts to think like this? or is there a better way to get power?

Thanks
Ben

Re: How much can you get?

call buschar racing and tell them what you want to do and have them give you suggestions. They will be able to help you out most likely. also so will slowboyracing. you can give them a call and they should be able to help you out.
