Question looking for more power
i have a 93 ex 2dr, i just got cold air intake and i can feel the diff. in power and now i want more.. i just dont know what i should get. does anyone have any suggestions besides turbo or a supercharger?

budget uhh probably 400 or less for now, what kind of header would you recomend.. and im lookin for as much power as i can get

well you want alot then swapping would be best. But i say get a catback system for now.

DC ceramin 4-2-1 headers cat back dont go cheap-greedy is good invidia i have had luck with as well-to get 400 you will need to do internals then a charger or turbo--ur looking at 5 grand to get 400 horses easy without blowing the engine

isnt it gonna be hard to get that much power out of a SOHC? is it possible to convert to a DOHC or would i have to do a complete swap if i wanted that

you'll need a swap and if you want real power DOHC is a lot easier to work off and will get you great power. you can get SOHC peppy but thats about all.

ok what should i try to get? what kind of engine would work without replacing my tranny? i have a 1.6 now, i was thinkin maybe an integra gsr but i doubt that wouldnt be cheap

yes you would need a new tranny GSR motor is great for working on it'll cost you but great motor. You can also do the b16 its 1.6 DOHC VTEC also in the 99-00SIs thats nother great motor cheaper. Theres also the 1.8 LS motor good toruqey motor fairly cheap

Ehh read up on the DOHC swaps and see what fits you

full swap bout 4g figure round 1k for install so bout 5g for GSR swap.
