Detail Master Polishing papers?
Do they come recommended? Have any of you guys used them?
How soft and pliable are they? Thanks for your input! |

Re: Detail Master Polishing papers?
They're awesome. Also very flexible, it's cloth not film.

They are excellent, used them loads... but take some time to practice with them! It's very easy to over do it and cut straight through the paint with them.

Re: Detail Master Polishing papers?
Me too... I find them best on auto paint as it tends to dry harder than acrylics. For acrylics I tend to start with 4K grit as theres less chance of problems them. Also if you use them wet they are a lot less harsh.

Re: Detail Master Polishing papers?
They work very well on Tamiya TS paints, provided you lay a good, thick (...kind off...) wet coat. I´ve also tried it on automotive paint and it performed very well. I isually top mine with Tamiya polishing compound and tamiya or automotive wax.
