Shaving symbols
I was thinking about taking off the toyota symbol and LE symbol on the back of my 96 camry. I was about to do it, then i started wondering if there was paint under those bad boys. Anyone know if there is paint under them?

Re: Shaving symbols
Brian's right, there is paint, although it would be a very wise idea to get a "no-mar" scraper specifically made for emblem and trim removal, and pick up some 3M adhesive remover as well.

Re: Shaving symbols
The "no mar" super scraper is around $10 - $20 at the most. They're available from http://www.jcw.com/ and they're really good quality.
