Body conversion

I'm wondering if its possible to convert the 1988 base rx-7 to the late model TII body. thanx.

Just go to a junkyard, get the parts you want and put em on there, it's really as simple as it sounds.

A friend of mine did it to his 86 on accident. My other friend backed into his RX with a suburban... we all went to a junkyard, found a TII, took the front end body parts and just swapped them on. We did have a little bit of trobule with the hood though... it wouldn't quite fit with the bar in place, so we made some slight modifications to the hood with a hammer.... not a great idea... but hey, the hood fit, you couldn't even tell what we did to it...
