Re: Straight Axle Conversion

Hi 95yukon, can you please clarify?
Do you want to exchange the independent front suspension, which uses torsion bars, to a live axle with leaf spring suspension, like you can find on Heavy Duty trucks?
What functionality are you looking for?
Take care, Eggert.

i want to replace the whole front suspension with a solid axle and leaf springs. i know i can use a 78-79 ford dana 60 kingpin but is there an newer alternative that may be a little cheaper. it has to be driver side drop so i won't have to get a new transfer case.
