brakes
my name is todd i own a 1996 ford windstar i have been having problems with my brakes but the problem doesnt happen all the time well here goes. when you try to stop sometimes you think you got the car stopped but the car goes a few more inches and sounds like it grinds i replaced the front rotors and pads. the rotors looked shot i thought this was the problem but it wasnt. i only changed the front. thats where it seemed like the problem was coming from what else could it be please help me asap

The grinding noise you hear may just be the anti-lock brakes activating. You may have a dirty or faulty wheel speed sensor causing the ABS to activate when it really doesn't need to. Just a guess!
