Does anybody have information on whether BMW will introduce the SMG2 (or 3) on the E39 M5?

I'd say not as the E39 is due to be replaced at the end of 03, having driven E36 and E46 SMGs I'd personally have a conventional manual over them any day, they take for ever to shift down
