1965 Manuel tranny wont shift

AHHHH!!! I NEED HELP! i have a 1965 beetle with stock tranny and i drove it anround and all the sudden it just locked me out off all gears. ANY IDEAS? i dont wanna pull the tranny unless i have to... IF YOU KNOW WHAT IT MIGHT BE EMAIL ME AT [email protected]

could be throughout bearing or shifter alignment or shift coupler. Start with checking these.

Well i know its not the through out bearing and im pretty shure alignment is good... and as for the coupler i dont know what a bad one is like (im new at it) i opened the cover up and i found like a metal lock tie or sumthing of that nature but i dont know it it was part of the coupler... any info on checking coupler would be most usefull to me
