Re: Need Help....< Newbie...

i'm not really an expert on preludes, but from looking around on the forum here i'd say that if you wanted to do a swap, the jdm h22a would be the most powerful engine... i'm not sure if it'll fit in your car tho.. you'd have to ask the prelude experts

Re: Need Help....< Newbie...

yeah, i'm not too sure of the number on that engine, but i know the jdm h22a from the 97-01 type S puts out 223 hp and 163 ft. lbs... i'm sure that'd be at least a 20 hp gain, plus you'd have a relatively new engine (depending on how many k's on your engine you have right now) it all depends what your goals are

Re: Need Help....< Newbie...

well, a type s h22a will definitely look good under the hood, and it will give you plenty of kick. i'm not too sure about the fit of the engine tho... i'll look into it

Re: Need Help....< Newbie...

it all depends on what your goals are man.. are you gunna make it a super fast car and have lots of time and money to spend on it.. or do u just wanna set it and forget it?

if you've got lots of time and money, you can build up the internals and turbocharge it (the H series don't have the strongest internals.. but meh, what can ya do)

if you just want to set it and forget it... you can do a jdm h22a swap. they're sturdy engine's with plenty of kick and look damn good under the hood
