First decent (i think) chop complete!

Well, here it is. After discovering that i have Paint Shop Pro, which is very similar to photoshop, as i have learned, i set to work learning to do what you all do so well.

This, is the product. Well, one of the few decent ones.

Here is what i did:

-Wheel change
-Lowered
-Window Tint
-Headlight Color Change
-Shaved Grille, Door handles, side markers, fuel filler door

Original

Now, i know there are plenty of errors and mistakes, but i tried. So what do you all think?

Hmmm.. Got curious as to why playing with curves would do that and expirimented for a bit.
I grabbed the orig and blew it up.. And yupper you can see fuzzies from compression.. But why so harsh after the Mod I'm thinkin..
Next I tried my best to Dup the color Kustom was after on a section and yep, It turns rough!
Then I did the same BUT desaturated that part. Looks better but still a bit of fuzzy, but helped a lot IMHO.
In the pic below (top half) you can see no desat, (Lower with desat first, then color)

But also if you look closely at the sky on kustms post you see the sky is going thru compression after the mod also adding to the rough look..

What I'm gathering here is. Don't work with an image that been compressed to death already, and for some odd reason green really shows the pics shortcomings. I tried other colors and coundn't get it to breakup that bad.. Weird..

Otherwise nice chop Kustom! Do some hi-res so we can see better..
Im new too and thought Id share my findings as to maybe help a little..

Re: First decent (i think) chop complete!

Interesting...I understand very little of that. But i appreciate the work you did to come up with your...um, conclusion...lol

I have been working with higher res pics lately, check out my holden, aside from the wheel i never erased, it came out pretty good. Better hurry though, its sinking pretty fast.

Instead of messing with the sat and bending curves you shoud use the airbrush to paint/color the ride. comes out beter and take more time making sure there are no imperfections. experiment with other options. I have some tuts for psp7 and ps7. I'll post if you'd like.
