Exclamation rear tires tilt

i was just wondering if anyone had the same problem that i have. My eclipse has been dropped 2 inches and the back wheels tilt in on the top, therefor the tires wear on the inside. Was wondering if i had to buy a kit to fix that or not. thanks for your help guys.

camber kit

you need a camber kit. when you lower your car your wheels tilt in at the top, there for you ride on the inside of your tires, wearing them out.
a camber kit will fix that placing your wheels flat on the ground, which will save your tires, and improve handleing and acceleration.

Re: rear tires tilt

If its a 95 just put some thick washers between the upper control arm and the frame. Depending on how thick you go you may need a longer bolt to keep it strong. Camber kits in my opinion take too much out of the rear, but include the spacers and bolts. Its your call. For what its worth though, I hated life with the camber kit in. I took it back out, but may try some washers intead for a happy medium. I get zero tire wear front or rear with no camber correction (front requires toe to be set to zero to avoid tire wear).

Re: rear tires tilt

Looks like it I plan to try something this year, since I easily spin all 4 tires now. I'm hoping a more vertical tire will improve my traction to get into the 1.5s more consistently...
