Oil filter/ oil survey

Just wondering what some of you guys use. I have a '03 GT6 and I want to take good care of my baby. I have been using mobil super syn oil but I have not really settled on an oil filter. I have used K & N in other cars, mobil, and purolator pure-one. Just wondering what some of you guys reccomend for oil and filters in your tibbys. I want to take apart one of the oem hyundai filters and see how it is constructed, but I haven't yet. It' looks and feels pretty solid, but I have no problem staying after market if the offer better protection.
