Bondo
Can you use Bondo on a plastic kit?
Are there any drawbacks to it? Will it shrink? What do you guys use? I'm going to be adding a body kit and am trying to figure out how to fill and smooth some transitions. Thanks Chris |

The only problem with bondo body filler is the fact that it doesnt stick to plastic. It wont eat the plastic at all because it doesnt stick.
Can a mod please move this back to the regular Model forum?

Re: Bondo
yes bondo will work
I used it before I switched to Tamiya only problem is the putty crack very easyly if it's too tick (ok for filling, not for moding ) you can check the Integra hood on my web gallery, it'S the only bondo work i did.

I am using Bondo Bodyfiller on my Project Roadster, I can twist the side panels a little with out it cracking. Bodyfiller is made for large jobs, and is a lot stronger.
